“Transportation is undergoing a massive transformation with electric mobility, digitalisation, the drive towards decarbonisation, climate change and supply chain volatility. The automotive industry is responsible for a large share of the world’s overall resource consumption and generates about 5% of the world’s industrial waste. The good news here is that a shift to the circular principles of reusing and recycling materials and components mitigates, if not completely solves, many of these challenges.”
