“Denver-based Matrix on Thursday joined 10 other companies selected to fill a $43 billion contract to recruit thousands of health care workers for the national network of Army, Navy, and Air Force bases over the next 15 years. It’s the federal government’s largest health care staffing contract yet, enlarged in part to respond to the national health care staffing shortage, said Rivard, an optometrist who spent 21 years on active duty with the Army and seven with the reserves.”
